Winnery

Wine is our passion and we organize unique visits to our friend Josep, who has built up a nice winery. He explains passionately about his work, the magical challenge of producing high quality wines and the visit includes a generous tasting acompanied by a little something. Josep speaks an excellent english!

Horse riding

Around the Villa you'll find many options to do equestrian sports: tours in the forest on horseback or if you are a group you can go in a beautiful wagon pulled by handsome horses used for competitions. We can also arrange classes in high level dressage.

Trekkings

The Villa is situated in the entrance of the Natural Park of Montseny, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and very close to several other natural parks. The parks offer great opportunities for those interested in doing walks - short or full day including climbing some 1.700 m peaks. We are experienced mountaineers and know the area so we'll give you advice if needed.

Local market wonders

Both our villages, Sant Pere and Sant Antoni have nice markets in the weekends. They are colorful and offer a wide range of products, many of them locally produced food but also clothes and shoes. The prices are good and here you can do bargains!

Golf

This is the golfers paradise! Nearby the Villa we have no less than 7 great golf courses (within a 15 - 50 min drive). One of the is the PGA Cataluña with two 18-holes courses. Another one copy the most difficult holes of the most famous courses woldwide! You'll find the greenfees ranging from 15€! We will help you with all arrangements. The courses offer full service and are well kept. Many with beautiful views. One of the courses have a beautiful castel to which we can arrange visits for groups.

Walks nearby

The Villa is surrounded by nature and beautiful views. You'll find a multitude of walking paths to discover.   Our two little villages, both on walking distance, have a lot to offer: caf'es, bars and restaurants, art exhibition, medieval church etc. How about a walk in the sunshine and go butterfly spotting? The area is famous for it's many unique butterflies!

Sport with a view

Keep in shape with pleasure using our big pool (13 * 6 m), our private tenniscourt (gear to lend), outdoor gym (under roof) or run the many paths through the forest around the Villa.

Sakya Tashi Ling buddist monistery

This famous monistery is just a one hour drive from the Villa. We can organize a visit to get to know it, visit their museum and their beautiful  property, have lunch with the monks, visit the main Estupa and learn about this special filosophy of life.

Skiing

Less than 2 hrs from the Villa you find several magnificent and big skiresorts with well developed and large systems. The mountains are high and there are slopes for all levels, also options for snowshoeing. Plenty of places to rent equipment and lots of restaurants but less queues than in the Alps!
We go to La Molina for a daytrip. There are: 53 pists, 16 lifts,, 444 snow canons and a hight of 2.445 m. And sun!

A privileged coast

The Villa is situated right in front of the coast of Maresme and the beginning of Costa Brava. From the Villa you have easy access to a multitude of great beaches, fishermens villages, hidden bays... from Cadaqués to Calella, passing the Dalí route, Tossa or Palamós... the options are so many!

Barcelona, of course!

Barcelona speaks for itself. From the Villa you reach the city center easily: 45 min by airconditioned train takes you straight there! There's a train every 30 minutes. Experience Gaudí, the port and the beach, the mountain, the Barrio Gótico, restaurants, la Ribera, el Barça. If you want to experience the nightlife our taxidriver can take you back home after train hours!

Visit the green vulcanic area!

This area is famous for its beauty and its lush forests, not to mention its cooking "la cocina volcánica". Here are many medieval villages protected as national monuments. Hostalets d´en Bas and Santa Pau are two of them you shouldn´t miss. Go walking or by bicycle or horsecarriage through the Natural Park of the Vulcanos and become amazed by the beauty of this old vulcanic landscape now covered in green. Visit the crater of the vulcano Santa Margarita with it´s little monistery inside or the yoghurt factory in the forest... In Santa Pau with it´s castel you can try out the specialties of the "cocina volcánica". On your way back to the Villa you can stop by the beautiful lake Banyoles for something to drink in one of the terrasses by the shore... a full day excursion with plenty of new and surprising experiences and a lot of beauty. This is the Spain you didn´t know existed!
